This is a wood sculpture featuring China's most respected philosopher, the founder of Taoism, Mo Zi, who lived in Warrior State Era, 476-390 BC. He was a well known scientist, educator, and military strategist. His beliefs are centered in governing with modesty, love and using people of good nature. He established physics, science of light and geometry. He is quite a renaissance man. His philosophy is ahead of his time. This old sculpture depicts the great man in wonderful details.
