A highly sophisticated, beautiful early 19th century round corner cabinet in russet cinnabar. A miter, tenon and mortise construction creates the top which four round, vertical posts at each corner tenon through. Same construction repeats on the doors and sides with frames encasing single board solid wood panels. A bottom stretcher separates the front of a secret compartment and curved apron with attached spandrels. Interior is coated in black lacquer with a moss green undertone. Detachable shelf and center post, two side by side drawers and an ample secret compartment under the bottom panel. Bronze hardware.
