The horse is modelled in gallop with the left leg lifted in a prancing pose and the right rear leg following, the sculpted head looking out to its left, and eyes alert with intense emotions. The horse is free of saddle or any embellishment, indicating it is modelled after a wild horse in expression of free spirit. This remarkable piece is hand carved with fantastic inlay work. Natural lapis lazuli of the highest grade in beautiful saturated dark blue hue.
