Rare 19th century Tibetan cupboard has multiple tiers of display and storage. The top is of an open design with scrolled framework. The middle section features 6 drawers and 1 pair of doors, while the bottom section 4 larger drawers and doors. They offer ample storage. Hand painted auspicious symbols include lotus (for peace), chrysanthemum (strength), gourd (good health), scrolls (knowledge), and pomegranate (children). The entire cupboard is one connected piece, constructed together and nondetachable. This is a rare piece that has beautiful patina and gorgeous colors. It is the very last 19th century Tibetan cupboard in our collection. Solid wood. Tenons and mortises.

The depth of the shelves are as follows:

Open shelves: 7.5" D
Shelf above the mid section: 9.5" D
Shelf above the bottom section: 10.5" D
