A beautiful hand carved, solid natural stone Buddha bust. The Tang dynasty style sculpture features the Buddha with round, full face with a serene expression. He has almond-shaped downcast eyes beneath high arched brows above pursed lips, flanked by long pendulous ear lobes. Buddha wears a sanghati robe with folds elegantly demonstrated on the upper left arm.
