This magnificent 19th century table is one of our most treasured pieces from Northern China. At an extraordinary length of 98.5", it commands the room with its undeniable presence. Beautiful cinnabar lacquer contrasted with vibrant mossy green and imperial yellow forms the overall color scheme. Hand carved drawer fronts showcase original, native tribal artistry. Symbolic deer, peonies, fish and peasant respectively express happiness, prosperity, wealth, freedom and beauty. One single center medallion carved with the symbol and character of "good health and longevity" anchors the overall design. 5 drawers offer ample storage.
