The serene face with large downcast eyes under arched eyebrows above pursed lips, flanked by long earlobes, all under hair neatly tied and adorned with an elaborate crown. Extra eyes between the brows, on the feet and palms indicate her power to see and cut through evil spirits. Tara is clad in a dhoti that ties around her waist, leaving the top torse bare, showing various necklaces and arm braces. She sits on a lotus throne in dhyana asana, left hand in vitarka mudra holding the stem of a lotus and the right hand conferring blessings.
