Gilt Bronze Manjushree

A beautiful gilt bronze statue of Tibetan Bodhisattva Manjushree. Seated in vajrasana on double lotus base, his right hand holding the sword of wisdom and his left hand holding the stem of a lotus in jnana mudra, gesture of teaching. The serene face with downcast eyes and arched eyebrows, all under neatly tied hair adorned by an elaborate crown. Manjushree is clad in a form-fitting dhoti cinched at the waist and tucked under the legs, wearing large rosette earrings and multiple necklaces and arm braces. A long scarf wraps around his arms, connecting with the holy lotus.
