Description

A beautiful red, early 20th century handmade leather trunk. Front of trunk is decorated with elaborate on-lay works depicting butterflies and peonies. A pair of circular longevity symbols below scrolled prunus blossoms adorn the sides of the trunk. Bronze hardware in remarkable, original condition. Interior is completed covered in leather, all original as well. Except the occasional wear and tear, the trunk is in stable, fully functional condition. All hand stitched.
