A charming and rare trio of antique Chinese miniature bronze incense burners, each displaying a distinct traditional form inspired by ancient ritual vessels. Small yet substantial, beautifully cast and richly patinated, the group presents a harmonious study of classical Chinese design in small scale. The first burner is a rounded tripod censer with upright ear-form handles and a raised medallion bearing the Chinese character "Buddha" and "Zen" on the base, symbolizing blessing and good fortune. The second is a rectangular ding-form censer, supported on four tapered legs, with a finely textured surface and a central circular cartouche featuring the character "prosperity". The third burner is a rounded vessel with gently flared rim, sides decorated by mythical animals, and a decorative band of archaic-style motifs encircling the upper body, also centered with an auspicious medallion depicting the Chinese phrase of "Beckoning the wealth and treasures". All three pieces exhibit a deep, naturally aged bronze patina with warm brown, dark umber, and subtle verdigris tones, highlighting their age and authenticity. Perfectly functional for incense burning, their compact scale also makes them ideal for tabletop display, scholar’s desk arrangements.
