A beautiful antique stone Buddha Shakyamuni. Seated in dhyana asana on a double lotus throne, hands in dhyana mudra, wearing a sanghati pleated end draped over his left shoulder and folded neatly under his legs. Portrayed with a serene face framed by a long pendulous earlobes, arched eyebrows, eyes downcast in contemplation, and smiling bow-shaped mouth, all below an ushnisha atop hair neatly arranged in rows of small whorls. All original patina. Remarkable condition. Interior and exterior use.
