FEATURES: Presenting our treasured 19th century guard. His left hand is firmly pressed on his left waist indicating readiness to take action. Original lacquer and gilding can still be observed. The lacquer was a splendid combination of cinnabar, blue, gray and black. Wonderful carvings depict his wide eyes, firm stare and posture. Large, solid boots emit power, security and stability. Style of head dress and robust Mongolian facial features are consistent with age.
